Positions Available:

GeoSolve Inc. is recruiting for the following positions on a part-time or full-time basis:

GIS Project Manager - Our GIS Project Manager independently directs and implements overall company goals and objectives to specific projects. The Project Manager uses his/her skills to define project requirements, manage the project budget, communicate directly and effectively with clients, direct and participate in the accomplishment of project deliverables, and manage the project scope and resources.

GIS Analyst - Experience using GIS software for data creation, conversion and migration, maintenance, process automation and analysis; developing and implementing Personal Geodatabases; converting CAD to GIS based formats. Desired skills in ArcGIS; CAD, VB/VBA, Oracle, SQL, Access, ArcIMS, SDE, and GPS. Requires equivalent to BA/BS in GIS, Computer Science or related field.

GIS Technician - Develops, maintains and coordinates GIS systems including data entry into databases. Strong GIS and/or CAD skills with an emphasis on principles and practices of cartography, surveying including legal descriptions, COGO, and as-built drawings.

Positions require a minimum of two years of hands-on experience working with GIS projects.

New Projects:

City of Scappoose Oregon - GeoSolve Inc. has been selected to help the City implement their GIS. This will involve coordinating the needs of various City departments, inventorying existing resource documents needing conversion to GIS, performing the data conversions, and developing software and data maintenance strategies.

Sauvie Island Drainage District - GeoSolve Inc. has been selected to assist the district in applying GIS techniques to calculate assessments for individual properties within the District. District boundary, parcel and LiDAR data will be used to automate the District’s assessment calculations.
